Bukhara is not a set of monuments with a town around it. It is a working old town with monuments in it, which is why the walking tours here are worth more than the bus ones. These are the best of them: the trading domes, the Kalyan complex, the Ark and Lyabi Hauz, with prices, walking distances and which guides also open the hammams.
