Our first stop was the museum, which was absolutely worth seeing, with exciting arrangements of paintings compared with handcrafted objects. On the way back, we took a look at the Shilpiq Tower, a spiritual landmark like no other, where desert and oasis merge. The driver who accompanied us was extremely polite and courteous. We deliberately skipped Mizdakhan, as the museum and Shilpiq were enough for us that day. 10/10 experience and highly recommended.”

“The day was good and our driver and guide was excellent. However, the company that we went with had not taken on board that we were doing the one day trip. When we arrived at the Yurt camp, they expected us to stay there. We should have arrived at lunchtime, not tea time. The driver then had to do the long drive back. They did try to put us under pressure to stay but that was not possible as we were travelling the next day. I would suggest that the company carefully checks. We were given the first day of the two day trip, rather than the one day trip.…”
